I mean, like seriously crazy story… but hey… you tell me.
I am starting my journey making money online because I have had enough of watching other people win.
I have seen too many people over the last few years make millions, so they say, just from creating content online.
And in my life, something needs to change.
I’m not going to get into all the details, but suffice to say..
I have been barely scraping by for a long time,
but…
About 15 years ago, I built a business.
We scaled it to $1.1 million in revenue in 12 months.
A few years later, I built a second business.
And scaled it to about $20k MRR.
These businesses were built around physical products.
So it was very different from creating content and building social media accounts.
I have never built a brand on social media.
I have never posted daily.
I don’t know what that is like.
But about the same time, I started the first business.
I read the Bible for the first time and found Jesus.
To say He changed my life is an understatement.
He answered every question about life.
Why we are here.
And what is the truth.
And as time went on, I got more into the Bible.
and more burnt out running my company.
Admittedly, I went a little too far…
I thought Jesus wanted me to be poor,
So I gave up on my career,
I gave up on making money,
and decided to become a rancher.
I gave up any chance at making a decent living.
Just fyi, it’s hard for ranchers to make money.
You don’t hear ranchers having $8k days or $1.2 million launches after ranching for just six months.
It just doesn’t happen.
But after getting married, not making an income for basically five years…
and selling everything I own…
God showed me that I didn’t need to be poor.
It’s not actually what he wants for me.
Or for anyone, for that matter.
I saw how necessary money is.
And how it can provide good things.
And make life better.
“Consider the work of God: for who can make straight what he has made crooked?”
I know I can’t.
After I decided to go down this path, God showed me a sign…
But it wasn’t a sign the way most people think…
God gives confirmation…
A sign AFTER you have already made a choice….
He showed me a smiley face.
And then he showed me again.
And again.
Hence…
The smiley face…
So if I have to spend my time making money….
I want to learn the skills that can provide enough for my family.
Not to become a billionaire.
But to have enough not to stress.
To have a time to have a little fun in this life.
God wants us ALL to be happy…
And there is nothing wrong with making enough money to be comfortable.
As long as we always give glory to Him.
God created the earth with his words.
I want to make a living with mine…
So I just blocked everyone I know…
And I’m going all in.
My first goal is to get a lead.
Then make my first sale.
Then I want to get to $5k a month.
So I can quit my second job.
Then I want to get to $10k a month.
We will reassess once we get there.
